New FF Florida Owner

Hello All,

I'm not a mechanic, but I like to tinker; I fix practically everything around the house. I've always been curious about how things worked, so when something breaks I like to take it apart and see if I can fix it. I fly big jets by trade and I wasn't sure if I could build a car...who does that??? But I went to the build school and didn't see anything that scared me so I ordered the truck, engine and trans in May; they should be delivered in July. Looks like fun...can't wait!

I'm in Viera (near Melbourne/Cape Canaveral).

Learning a lot from the forum..great resource!

Keep us posted as your build progresses. I’m on the other side of the state north of Tampa and I’m planning to build a truck myself. I already have a engine (408 Cleveland), I just need to find the funds for everything else.

Welcome! There’s a number of FFR builders in your area that you can draw info from. I lived down there for 1 1/2 years and loved driving those roads! Enjoy yourself!

The wait is enough time to build a little anxiety :confused: but I'm using the time to organize my shop before delivery :)
I plan to keep an updated post.
