Almost finished with my MK4 wiring and can’t seam to find a good windshield wiper switch. Yes I have the one supplied with the FFR wiper kit but want a rotating/knob style switch.

Does any one know of a good source to acquire one?

I already have the knob.

Thanks

Here is the wiper switch I used. It does require some relays to make the "park" function work properly.

Here is the wiring info. I used

"I was a little lost with respect to wiring the PRS7 (54033632) Rotary Wiper Switch.

Here is a way to wire up the switch and still be able to use the park circuit.

This is not my design and I have not tested it yet but it makes sense.

Scroll down to the second diagram near the bottom of the page for the rotary switch.

I used the WS-61 switch from Ron Francis Wiring. No special wiring needed to make it work, other than one jumper wire. Coincidentally, I just tested it yesterday - off/park - low - high, all worked fine.

I used a piece of aluminum to make a reinforcing backing plate that keeps the whole switch from turning when you twist the knob. I have the vinyl dash and it is too soft to otherwise survive the twisting force over time.

This is the switch on the left - identical in appearance to the headlight switch on the right.

Edit: Here's the wiring diagram for the switch - you make one jumper wire for the white wire from the FF5 wiper package so that it connects to both B terminals on the switch.

Edit: Here's the back of the switch.

Thanks to all that replayed, I’ll try the Ron Francis and see if that gives the desired results.
