I am now looking to begin my journey with a 818C. First things first, I am building a garage (haha) which I expect to have completed by Oct/Nov. In the meantime, I am working on sourcing a donor car.

That said, anyone in Charlottesville or at least VA working on an 818? Love to meet.

Welcome. I'm in Chesapeake VA but I am building a Mark IV. You're welcome to come take a look. You should also look at the build school since you may have a hard time finding an 818 in progress.
