Congrats! - The road trip to factory five (in November 2009) to pick up my kit/meet Dave Smith has been one of the highlights my build - except for hitting the George Washington bridge at 4:45 on a Friday night pulling a trailor! Been an awesome experience, but the only things in my build that have compared to the road trip where the 1st start/gocart and getting picutes from the painter over the past couple of weeks.

Hi PJ,
Congratulations! Hope you have fun building the car with your sons. I helped my Dad with his Mk3 Roadster and it was a blast.
Here's a photo of you, your son, and Dave Smith after your kit was loaded at FFR.

PJ congrats, but yea the GWB is a major backup, I avoid it at all costs, especially with the trailer.

I highly recommend the trip to Wareham to pick up a kit - it's such a great way to kick-off this project of a lifetime!!!
