I have the second drivers door from FF installed, it's much better than the 1st door but not perfect.
See pics. The seam on the top of the door I assume should be ground down flat, right?

How about where the front door meets the body?

Jim, you do have to do a fair amount of body work to make the doors and body come out right. Sometimes it is sanding, sometimes it is adding filler or fiberglass. All part of the fun, LOL.

Glad I wasn't building a show car as working with fiberglass is frustrating. My body was off more than 1/2" from side to side and enough variation that I couldn't get it anywhere near as good as a steel car. Unlike steel, this stuff seems to move around for several months so even if you get a section perfect (good luck with that) it doesn't seem to last. Wait til you get to the trunk lid.

And I've been told it would have been worse had I not let the body sit in the sun for the better part of a year before I started on it.

Thanks guys. I've had the car for over a year now but most of the time it's been in the garage, not out in the sun.
I have noticed the body is off side to side.
I've been working on the trunk, no fun.

I so agree about the trunk, definitely a challange
