hood hinges

are the mk4 hood hinges suppose to be so loose? mine are really loose, called ff5 and they said they are supposed to be loose.

Get some 5/16 washers that will pass over the shoulder screw and use them to take up the slack.

Like Mike I put them together with 5/16 cut washers. Wave washers go in the "round File"...da Bat

Another expert builder, Jeff Kleiner, told me to do the same thing and it really worked well.
