FFR6817RD Description of Setting
This pic was taken across from the Seattle waterfront at dusk. Camera used was a Nikon D50 set on a tripod. The exposure was set to 30 seconds, and the shutter was tripped with the self timer to reduce camera shake. There was a setting to decrease noise for long exposures so that was switched on. To prevent the headlights from washing out the photo, I used a remote keyfob cutoff switch, and switched on power to the headlights for about a second in the middle of the exposure. The cool aircraft lights were a total fluke - never noticed them until I reviewed the photos. Out of about 20 photos, there were only 2 or 3 that were what I considered usable. Location
