Just finished my wiring and ran in to this problem:
When I press brake, both turn signals lid along with brake lights..

I will really appreciate any help! Thank you!

How many dash indicators, one or two? Did you install diodes in-line to the dash indicator if only one is used?
Are the bulbs installed correctly - in the past, the bulb sockets supplied were loose enough to allow bulbs to be inserted 180° out of wack (<-- highly scientific word used by car guys a lot) causing a crossed-circuit at the socket. That could allow for your issue . . .

I am using wiring harness form FFR.
No indicators or diodes installed.
BTW, Hazard light works well.

Since you are using hot rod steering column you have to snip the connection in the harness where directional lights come together in the harness for the switch when the hot rod column is not used. It’s in the ffr manual.

I think it’s in the wiring manual as well- not 100% sure.

The cobra uses a different circuit for brake lights where the hot rod uses the same circuit and interupts the brake light while turning if the brakes are applied.

I think it is the purple wire.

Nope, the purple wire is the brake wire and is not used in the hot rod with the hot rod column.

There are 4 wires to change according to the manual. One for horn, one for hazards (pink), and 2 related to turn signals because we are not using a dash mounted switch. Sounds like its the last one that you might have missed. You need to seperate yellow and white front turn signal wires from the green and blue rear turn signal wires where it goes to dash switches on the roadster. Its in the main HR manual just before the fan wiring section

Thank you FF33rod! Thank you guys! For some reason I missed this part from the manual. All good now!

Your using the other flashers that have the ground wire, right?

Actually are those LED front lights or not. If not, maybe the original flashers are okay to use? In any case, I'm suspecting a bad ground on the turn signal relay...

The front and rear turn signals are LED's.
With LED's you should be using the 2 flasher modules that plug into the RF fuse block.
