Up here in the usually frigged state known as Michigan we finally got a bit of a warmer weather over the weekend. So I was able to get the MK4 out. So lm content for the moment. There calling for mild temps for the next 10 days so May and warmer temps can’t come soon enough. Thanks Jim1855 for the pics.

That’s the side that says outside on the tires if I remember correctly. I’ll check again how ever. They are kinda odd with the tread pattern. The angled channels angle forward on one side of the car and the other way on the opposite side but the side wall that says outside should be out. If not good catch as I didn’t pay much attention as I had a local race shop install them and assumed all was good.

Yep they all say outside on them on the outside. The new R888R tread design is totally not good for rain but in the dry traction is great. Even with 650 hp and 655 ft/lb they hook up in second if your roll into it.

Another pic thanks to Jim it shows the car color a bit better. It was overcast a bit so the pearl in the paint didnt pop as much as it would in the sun. It normally shifts from grey to silver in the sun. I like having a different custom color rather then the blue and white although they look good too. Helps too when the local Sikkens rep is a family friend and they are willing to give you what ever you need for spray out cards. 105237

Color is mini copper royal grey (color code A48)with a little extra pearl. It’s grey metallic and silver metallic where the light hits it. Very dramatic color in person that makes the curves of the car pop. Found a good picture that actually shows what it looks like in the sun. 105385
