For those leaving from Long Island here is the route that was used last year.
McDonalds on Hempstead Tpke in Uniondaleopposite Nassau Coliseum. ¼ mile WEST of Meadowbrook Pky
PLease fill your tanks the night before and remember to bring your EASY PASS
Meeting Time: 6:15am
Departing Time: 6:30am
Returning Time: 2:00pm ish
On the way we will make a pit stop at the Putnam Diner on Route 22 inPatterson, NY for a sit down breakfast.
Route: Hempstead Tpke to Meadowbrook Pky North, merging into Northern State PkyWest
(Grand Central Pky), to Cross Island Pky North.
Over Whitestone Bridge to Hutchinson River Pky North. Once on the Hutch we willcontinue to Route 684, then directly onto route 22 taking route 44 in Millertonto route 112 to Limerock Park.
The return trip will be the same routes 112, 44 and 22 as in years past,why...well because we know where all the gas stations are located.
