Anyone every put in different carpet?

Just wondering how many yards of carpet you would need if you wanted to do some thing different. Also the rear cockpit wall needs a very large piece, how big of a piece would I need back there?

I've got 4-5 boxes of the FFR carpet since I don't use it on my builds. 6 yds is enough

Just be sure you use carpeting made for outdoor use. Otherwise, it can fade very quickly. I carpeted my trunk also, mostly to keep its contents from sliding around so much. I used the Breeze Automotive carpet packages and liked them very much. Breeze's deeper cut pile nap conceals cut seams very well: I preferred it to FFR's carpet.

6 yards sounds like a lot to me, I thought it was closer to 5 needed, though I think I bought 5.5 yards just to be safe. A lot of guys use the Bentley carpet available from a number of different online sources.
