Chuckwalla Raceway track Day

New to the f5 family with my mk II purchase a few months ago. I want to see how many people would be interested in a track day at the new chuckwalla raceway in palm springs. This new road track is open to full day rentals for short money.

I spoke to the vp of operations and he is open to renting the facility for the day with the pricing under $2000.

Anyone interested?

I will check dates for late sep/ oct...cost includes track rental and ambulance rental.

I will fill make sure we have 10 people to keep the cost to $200 per person

The folks over at Chuck Walla are standing their ground on pricing around $2500 for the day (everything) which pushes the price per person over what we all want to pay with only 6 people interested..With that said they have put me touch with a club that already has the track rented for Sept 10/11 and Oct 1/2 for $150 per day...The Oct 1/2 date may be a good option considering the heat..

Talked the folks over at Star Car and they shut it down at 20 cars and the day includes insurance, ambulance etc...

Too bad more of us didn't step up so we could have our own day. Looks like starcarsports may be the way to go this time around. I will have to pass on the times you are proposing as I leave September 10 with my car and trailer to go back east and drive some road courses I missed last summer. Won't be back until October 20th. Have fun and post some pics if you run.
