I'm looking for the cheapest low mount alternator bracket for a 302 serpentine belt setup, driver side water pump hose outlet, any suggestions that actually work ? I was looking at the Scott Drake Alternator Brackets C5ZZ-10145/51BK and wonder if that would work ?

How about the bracket seen in post no. 198? It is from Speed Doctor Racing Components, which you can find on facebook. It wasn't dirt cheap but it was well worth what I paid for it.
