View Full Version : Forte Engine Mount Mod - Dart Block

Hey guys. Just got my engine mounts back from Forte, and he's modified them for the Dart block. As you can see, he's not only notched them out to fit the block, but also took some iron angle and welded back in the support from the other side.

Thought I'd share as there aren't too many pics of modifications around.

Can you please point out the part that is notched? This is in our near future and although I’ve read a lot about this, I don’t know how much or where to notch.

The middle picture compares an original mount on the left with the notched mount on the right. Hope that helps.

Fancy! I encountered the same issue on my 347 dart block....ended up doing some fine surgery with my angle grinder :)
(I didn't touched the block, only the metal mounts)

I talked with Blue Print and they said I could go easy and take some off the block so I did both. Used touch up paint and the block looks untouched.

Fits good now.
