Moser Cast Aluminum Differential Cover Compatibility

Does anyone know of an issue with the Moser 7106 cast aluminum differential cover for the Moser 8.8 rear end? I ordered the cover to replace the stock chrome cover. There are some discussions in the forum about dimensions of the cover and I'm trying to determine if there are any internal or external compatibility with the rear end or chassis before I mount it. I don't want to assume anything.

You will have issues with placement of a below-trunk battery box if you go that route. I went the opposite way, putting in a standard cover to clear the battery box. Yes, I found out the spacing issue the hard way. You're asking the right questions!

Other than that I'm not aware of any fitment issues.
