I loved reading Magnus' blog (http://thefactoryfiveforum.com/entry.php?174-Road-Trip-2011-15-days-and-8-000-miles-of-Roadster-fun) on his 8,000+ mile road trip in his Factory Five. We have a picture of the month contest that awards $100 for each category of car every month. I liked this photo so much, I figured even though it didn't score any cash on the POM, we should shoot off a $100 gift certificate as a way of saying congrats!
Thanks for the stoke Magnus!
I met Magnus, three years ago, at the FFR Open House. Great guy. He let me get in and out of his roadster many times, answered many questions and then took me on the road trip to Plymouth Rock in the afternoon. First FFR roadster I had ridden in. Having owned many different sports cars in my life I was sold.
Turns out Magnus and I had other experiences we could share with each other. The age difference between us didn't matter and he and I have stayed in contact, occasionally, since then. He is now doing just what I want to be doing in the coming years when I get finished with my car.
Again, a great guy and a good example of what the FFR community is all about.

Magnus is truly an iron man. That is more miles than a lot of us will drive in a year. What a great adventure. Great job on a dream trip Magnus, thanks for sharing it with us!

I'm working on posting pictures. My computer acted up and needed to be purged of 750GB of nonsense. Yes, gigabytes. Takes a bit of tinkering. Plus I'm still sleeping off a bit of the adrenaline stoked driving ;)

Now I want to pack it in and go for a long drive... a really long one... Great read and even better pictures! What wide angle lens did you use?

I used two different wide angle lenses. One is the Canon 24mm f3.5L TS-E (not the Mark II). The other is a Rokinon 8mm circular fisheye that I am using for 360x180degree panoramas. I would like to get my hands on that Canon 8-15mm though.

Especially #25. Once in a lifetime shot.
