Getting 17" wheels, whats the best tire out there? Is anyone running or heard any good things about "VREDESTEIN ULTRAC SESSANTA TIRES"?

Assuming you're going to run staggered 17" wheels, the Kumho Excsta XS seems to be very popular:

I run these on the street only. They were the best bang for the buck of my choices for both sizes staying with same model tire. I feel the grip is great for spirited street driving. They are also a converstion starter as I get many questions at shows about them. At the time there was an eBay seller that was as chaep with shipping as I could buy them wholesale through my business. And I think they just look cool....... Lew

Put me in the Excsta XS category as well. For the most part, there have been three main considerations for 17s, the Sumi, The Kuhmo, and the Goodyears. THe Sumi is the least expensive and has gotten the most reviews as being very hard and not the best traction.

The Kuhmo is mid priced of the three but the reviews seem to put it pretty close in preformance to the Goodyears which are awesome, but expensive.
