Hi Guys,
Please see the attached photos-
I just set in the coyote motor and TKO600 trans into the car for the fist time.
I am in the process of checking everything out-Header clearances, spaces, electrical layout, etc...

Are both of the motor mount pins suppose to sit at the bottom of their slots? As you see the passenger side is up a little from the bottom of the slot and the driver side is all the way down.
Maybe I don't have the motor correctly "Settled" into position.

Input, Thoughts please
Thanks
Martin

Gives you a little wiggle room to rotate the motor if you have header to frame issues.

I haven't worked w/ a Coyote but from several old school small block MkIVs I have worked with, we would have killed to have that option of some movement. They need a big hammer and a 2x4 to bang them so the pins just barely get into the top of the slot.

Looks pretty normal based on my experience. You might have a little wiggle room there. But the proof will be when fitting the body and aligning the headers/side pipes. I'd leave it the way it is for now.

Can’t tell by the pic, but did you install the spacers in the mounts?

Bolt it down and move on to the next step. It'll be fine.
