Hi,
I’m installing the FFV toggle switches, The signal, hazard switch, etc, and on one of them the trim ring that screws on the front pulled through the dash vinyl.
What are you guys doing to prevent this or cover it?
Thanks,

When I do a padded dash I use chrome washers. Not really focused on the switches in this photo but if you look closely or zoom in you'll see 'em.

Same idea as Jeff, except I use SS washers. When I first looked, didn't find chrome ones in the right size so used some SS ones I found. Couple turns on the buffer and they look good.

Ron Francis sells custom ones as well. More pricey than washers for sure, but unique.

I didn’t know if there was a place to get ones that were designed for it.
The Ron Francis ones look a little bulky for me.
I like the washer idea. I figure that if I can’t find the exact size I can get some that are a little too small and drill them out. I do like the once clean look.

ChromeNuts.com is a good resource for all types of chrome fasteners. They also sell polished stainless as well.

Also, Whitby sells dash switch rings.
Although, I do not have any personal experience with them and not sure if they solve the padded dash problem.

I went through Carolina laser and got black round ones with custom engraving https://www.legend-plates.com/22mm/22mm-round so that all my switches where labeled. But it’s all personal preference at the end of the day.

Me too. My switches had to be labelled to get my car certified for the road registration.

You can also consider getting those customize automotive switch labels, I got them and they look great.
