Great event. I was lucky enough to crew and drive in it a few times in the 80's. It is a bucket list race if you are a race fan, IMO. :cool:

Hanging in a hotel watching it now - they're saying it's cold, but it was -12* at my place this morning.... I don't think Daytona is cold.

Enjoying seeing the overhead shots, as I bought my GT350R from a dealership right across the road from the speedway last Spring.

My friend who got me the allocation for that car does a couple of track days each year on the full IMSA course and the speeds are incredible. I'm planning on taking my '65 Mustang fastback vintage racer (the Rustang) down there someday, as my retirement plan is to haul it around the country to all of the historic tracks.

They are finally back under the Green Flag; however, the conditions are still terrible.
