I like what he did with the this roadster. It’s not worth the $130k he states in his build summary but very nice otherwise. I doubt he will get his reserve if he thinks there are that many dollars in it.

Seems like of late everything good on BAT does not meet reserve.
I would be surprised to see the bidding go up substantially from the current with 16 minutes to go. Will be watching though.

Think the last bid was pretty good for the car. Hard to see it go to $50K

Weird. I tried to sell one on there and they told me my reserve was too high at $40,000.00 They wouldn't accept the listing.

that car is a clone to the one I built about 12 years ago , I think that price is pretty fair in todays market

Really Mike? That is nuts. While I agree some FF’s have not sold well on BAT and that it is not the ideal place to sell one as you always get the guys who claim to know it all plus if it’s a “kit”, then it’s not worth much in their eyes which is BS. A well built FF roadster is as good as all the other brands I have seen. Also selling there or on any auction type site, you will not get people who see value in the build.
I think it was a nice build from the pics and description and should sell for $50k+ as it’s worth it.

Hmmmm I watched this car and as a novice to these cars I had a few thoughts that I think there were a couple of factors that hurt it:
1) No IRS, driving these cars on crappy roads (especially in the NorthEast) an irs does make it a better ride and a better drive
2) The webers, as cool as they look and I had twin 44idf's on a Fiat Spyder, they can be a PIA, especially if you want to drive this car often
Just my 2 cents but if this thing had say a 347 and an IRS it may have actually brought a higher dollar bid. I suppose it all depends what a perspective buyer prioritizes.
