VIN placement

Hello all, I just bought a cobra project and had it shipped from Pa. down to my home in Tampa. I am trying to figure out the exact spot to install the VIN plate. I'm pretty sure it is on the drivers side of the fire wall, but not sure if it can be anywhere on there or in a specific spot. Also wondering if it can be glued or screwed on or if I need to install with rivits. Please help me.:confused:

Don't know about Florida's law about where it installed. Here in Michigan the state sends a person out to inspect and install the vin plate. Here they install it on the cross tubes in the engine compartment. Make sure that you find out where the state wants it and if they are to install it.Roger
