Anyone have any pictures of the stock accelerator pedal set up? When installed, is it normally much lower (level wise) than the brake and clutch pedal? Mine seems to be much lower. I could probably adjust the others lower but I feel like I would not have enough throw on the clutch or brakes. I'd like to try to make it work without buying any more extras (aka Lokar cables, kootenai aluminum footbox, ect)?
Also, it seems like the whole throttle cable is waaay too long. I have a holley carb. I take it that you are supposed to snip the ends off the throttle cable and use the factory 5 supplied ball end pieces? I went ahead and did it (1st picture). What is the little supplied spring for (second picture)?

I'd guess the spring is a return spring for the carb in case the throttle cable breaks.
I have a drive by wire throttle, the bottom of my accelerator pedal would hit floor. I cut the metal between the pivot point and the pedal, then overlapped to two pieces to move the pedal up.

Just in case you were not aware you can change the angle of the Lokar pedal by disassembling the center pivot bold and re-clocking the two arms to your desired angle to give you full throw. This adjustment in combination with the different mounting holes for the cable in both the pedal and the carb should let you dial in the set up. http://www.lokar.com/assets/instructions/INS0044-Competitor-Throttle-Pedal-Instructions.pdf Good Luck. Scott
ps Lokar also sell spacers to let you move the pedal farther off the floor if you wish. https://www.speedwaymotors.com/Lokar-GPS-6015-1-2-Inch-Brushed-Throttle-Pedal-Spacer-for-Steel-Pedals,67696.html?sku=49106015&utm_medium=CSEGoogle&utm_source=CSE&utm_campaign=CSEGOOGLE&gclid=Cj0KCQiAm5viBRD4ARIsADGUT26LNH1hB88LJmydWSxy FU0fyRE2-C7ehl2j9K9wFRuZ8geosqCO2RQaAoIuEALw_wcB.

Does anyone have photo?
I have similar question. Does accelerator cable exit cockpit above the 1 1/2" square brace? I am working on the '35 pickup, but understand firewall forward is the same.
I find the assembly manual impossible to follow, but my excuse is I am old and dense.
Thanks, Ralph
