Coyote Cooling - Lower Radiator Hose/Pipe Mod

I've seen several builds where they've used the V8 Dodge Ram1500 lower hose, with an extention pipe/elbow.

Question is:
How long do the "legs" on the pipe elbow need to be?

I went with the pipe and clamp up from Breeze. Can't go wrong with that.
