Electronic FF Gauges - are pointers supposed to "stay up" then turn off power?

Strange fenomen, then I turn the engine off the pointers are staying at the level they had before, rpm at 1000, oil psi at 5. After next start they shows that latest value.... It dosn´t matter if the main power switch is on or off.

I have the Ron Francis harness together with the FF gauges.

Is this normal for this gauges?

After the engine's shut down, turn the key to "ACC' momentarily. THat'll zero your gauges.
