Thanks guys. I ended up calling FFR and confirming already. Unfortunately, according to whoever I spoke with, it does not apply to me since I bought my kit during the recent sale. Would have been nice to save the $500 but I had already planned on going before I found out about the rebate so I'm not really worried about it.
I'll be at the 9/30 - 10/2 class. Ought to be fun.

Is there a time limit on the rebate? For instance, if I attend the school in November, but don't purchase my Mk IV until next summer or fall, will I still receive the rebate?

I think you're good. The only requirement is you get your build school diploma or whatever it's called before final payment. Also keep in mind that if you get your kit on sale you can't get the rebate. I'd still call em to make sure though.

After years of looking, I'm getting closer to pulling the trigger and seriously considering the 9/30 - 10/2 class. Appears there are still openings and good flight deals from my end at the moment. How fast do they let you know if a class is going to go?

The 9/20-10/2 class is on for sure if that's what you mean. I have my plane ticket, my hotel reservation, and I'm raring to go. Give em a call. They're very responsive.
