I have researched covering the dash panel. I am using FFR supplied vinyl. I have a MKII and using mustang gauges. Do I glue the complete dash or will it work to do the just the perimeter? Can I glue the bottom edge and do top edge later? What do I use to hold bezels?
Any and all advice welcome. Thanks. Duane

are you using foam on your dash? Either way glue on everything, everywhere. Just the perimiter will never cut it. you can finish one edge and finish another at a later time. Bezels usually fit snug and hold themselves, but there is mounting hardware that goes on the back of the gauges to hold them in place.......HTH.....Steven

I bought vinyl from Joanne Fabrics that had a nice leather grain imprint to cover my dash with a thin headliner foam behind it. The 3M spray adhesive I used bled though so I only did the perimeter. 10 Years and 80K miles and it looks as good as the day I installed it. No wrinkles and no bubbles.

When I did mine with the FFR OEM covering, I totally botched the job. I went to Joanne Fabrics and bought the same stuff Todd got and laid it right over the original. All is well.
