Hi.

Been lurking for many years here. Now I am ready to go. I have read many build threads and have a reasonably good idea what I am about to under take :-) In the next day or two I will be placing my order for my coupe. I have a history of working on car's and trucks, but building one is going to be a fun challenge. This one will be used mostly for playing around town with an occasional autocross.

I am planning on the following major highlights:

Complete 65 kit
Power steering
AC
IRS rear suspension
Wilwood upgrades
BluePrint 427 FI
TKO 600
Halibrand 18" wheels
Color TBD

I have lots of ideas that I will leverage from everyone's build threads and some things I will figure our as I go. Keep an eye out for my build thread coming soon. I am not sure when I will order my engine, but that will be really fun!!

Here we go!!

Congrats, it's going to be fun. If I hadn't decided on the '33, the type 65 was my next choice. Remember it's as much about the journey...

Order placed on 11/30. Have a production complete date of 12/22. That was alot faster than I expected. I will be rushing to complete garage prep! I will be starting a build thread closer to delivery date, which I need to talk to Stewart to arrange.

HI

Wellcome to the family. I am building a 33 (at the Vin # stage) and 2 others are building roadsters here in the south Denver. I am in Parker CO. Have fun, take your time and enjoy your build. Lots of great help from this forum.

Brian,

I also ordered a Type 65 kit with the same completion date as yours on 12/22. Hoping to receive the kit shortly but I believe the snow may cause some delays.

Good luck with your build, I'll be following your progress.
