Hi folks, I’m finally at that point I can get serous about a FFR Cobra build. Should be buying in in March 2019.

I’ve been to SEMA for years and always stopped by the booths for FFR. This year, I spent a lot of time talking to the builders and watching FFR build the car on site. I met a few of the professional shops and talked with them. So, now, it’s just about choices.

Garage build would be OK for me, I have the tools and skills I hope. The only problem is my day job changes once in a while, and I might have to travel a lot for the week. So, I’ve been talking to local builders Levy Racing and Modern Metal Works. Then Formacars had a nice one at SEMA as well. Once it gets closer to March, I will have to make that decision.

For now, my choices are a 306ci with either 330 or 370 HP. Then a 5 speed trans and the 4 link suspension. Wheels will be the 17” knock offs from FFR. Primer grey paint and an aircraft themed wrap.

So many other choices to make, but I have some time until March. Thanks for all the threads, it so very interesting to watch the build threads.

Rob in Chandler.

I suggest that you go over to Litchfield Park and talk to Dan Ruth. He's more known for his '33 Hot Rods, but knows his way around building these kits and related projects. Keith
