Engine codes

[Robert 2006]

Background 1991 5.0 factory EFI, GT40 heads, mild cam, 12-degree timing. Car runs good only had it on a few short drives so far (15 min). Side pipes at header flange did get some discoloration not sure if that was from first start up timing or other issues. I hooked up a OBD-1 reader and got error code 12 and 22. Are codes something to worry about?

12 = Cannot control RPM during ER Self-Test high rpm check.

22 = MAP/BP sensor out of self test range.

I would clear your codes and run it again to see if it throws the same codes.
