Looking for a fine suspension tuner
I think that my MK4's ride needs more fine tuning. I do not know where find professionals around to give me a hand to resolve it. I am ready to pay for and to drive 200-300 miles from home to put the riding perfect. Any suggestions are welcome. I have IRS suspension and all parts come from FF5, I run on Hallibrand 15¨ , 22 psi in front ( 9 ¨) and 24 psi at rear ( 11¨). The bad feeling of driving comes when I drive on cracked roads, the car goes tight and left suddenly.

It would be worth your time, to send a PM to "LSMan". Ted Harrison. He and Ron Richmond put a thread together for the GTM suspension to show how to go about dialing it in.

I am certain that he can help you get to the answers that you're looking for.

It a good read. Written and explained so the average guys can understand the concept. There are a few videos to back up the verbage in the posts. At least I understood it. That's saying something...

If you want the BEST suspension set up guy around. Someone who has set up some of the fastest challenge cars, knows the ins and outs of these cars and how to make them run fast, safe, and fun then call Mark Dougherty The Traveling Builder at 717-566-1437. He will fly to your location spend whatever time it takes to get you happy and the cost is very reasonable.

He did it for my car and I'll tell you it is OEM fun, fast, and safe to drive. I read all the time how the guys on the forum finish their cars and then complain about how scary it is to drive them, or that if you don’t watch out the Cobra will bite you. Or how Miata’s run rings around them. When I read these stories I get made, because these guys just don’t take the time or spend the money to have the suspension properly setup. Sometimes they don’t even have the suspension put together properly. These are wonderfully engineered cars, with good race suspensions but they need to be built properly, allow plenty of movement, and then be set up to run the best for your particular suspension parts.

Do yourself and your family a favor and call Mark 717-566-1437. By the way I get nothing for this other than to know another FFR roadster builder will have a smile on their face when they drive their cars.
