Looking for 818 owner in southern Oregon or northern California

Hi all,

I'm interested in talking with an 818 owner/builder in the southern Oregon or northern California area. I'm interested in building one but would like to see one in person and discuss building it first, if at all possible. I'm a bit north of Klamath Falls in southern Oregon. I would consider traveling through to accomplish this.

I go to kfalls regularly and need to go to medford this weekend.

There might be enough to have a so oregon group starting if you arnt careful :p

SgtGator has one.... he's in Oregon. Can't remember if in Portland or Bend or where though. He is planning on renting it out for track events, last I heard. It MIGHT need a motor though, can't remember.

There's a go-kart stage one in Portland..... Jeff Sponagle (sp?).

Riley Carson has one in Portland that is completed and on the road.

There might be more but those are the ones I know of.

Yes sir! I'm in Bend. The car is driveable and even has Oregon license plates, but it's best driven at Oregon Raceway Park.
However as you are well aware driving it is very iffy for the next 5 months, we are expecting snow in Bend tonight and up to 2 feet in the passes in the next few days. So the 818R is basically in hibernation, but you're welcome to come look at it. There's another local 818R under construction close to me but he doesn't post on the forum. I'm sure he'd be happy to have us come by his shop and talk with him too.
