View Full Version : Locking AN Fuel Rail Fitting
Shoeless

Hey guys,
I'm laying out all the fittings I'll need for my fuel system, but can't seem to locate the locking type Fuel Rail AN fitting I have seen mentioned. Can someone point me in the right direction?
I also have what looks to be the standard spring lock fitting on the hose coming out of my Lingenfelter fuel pump. Anyone replacing this with something that locks more permanently?
While I’m at it, what are you guys doing with the siphon jet line fitting on the pump in the tank? Just dropping a hose to the bottom of the tank?
Thanks,
Sean

Thank you Sir!!! This looks like a solid approach to me.

On the siphon jet on the bottom of the pump...I assume you're working with '04 tanks? If so, that port needs to be completely blocked off or you will have no fuel pressure. We just use a brass hose barb plug installed in a short chunk of fuel injection hose and install the hose on the pump with a hose clamp.

Perfect, that will work. I’m using the aluminum tanks, but figure the same thing would apply.

Oh...forgot to mention that we use the factory quick-connect plastic fitting to connect the fuel injection hose....just carefully cut the plastic hose off of the plastic fitting and install the fuel injection hose in it's place.
