MuscleCar Build of a Mk4 Roadster Coming Soon
http://www.factoryfive.com/whatsnew/press/hptv/images/roadster1.jpg
Courtney Hansen from Spike TV's "Powerblock" welcomes Factory Five Racing president Dave Smith back to Powerblock this weekend along with one of his incredible Mk4 Roadsters.
They only made 300 of the original cars, so they’re hard to find and just about out of reach for most of us, with auction prices ranging from half a million dollars and up! But with a Factory Five replica, you can build one in your garage while spending a lot less money and getting all the modern performance, handling and safety our modern technology brings to the table.
Dave will announce a MuscleCar build coming up later with one of his Mk4 Roadsters and Powerblock will take the MuscleCar-built car to the track and do a side by side shootout with an original. Watch Powerblock August 13 & 14.

Hey guys,
I'm pretty excited about this upcoming episode because while a lot of you guys KNOW how good a well set-up fuel-injected modern FFR is, a lot of the general public don't know how far the design has come from the original legend. So, we are going to set-up our Mk4 with all of the latest goodies (on the show) and then do a driving/performance comparo to an original 427. This should be A LOT of fun. I don't think the actual episode will air until for 4-6 months.

This is awesome news Dave. Clearly the guys who watch the powerblock are the guys who will build your cars. I am personally looking forward to the comparo with the original 427. I have a hunch the legend of the 427 will pale by comparison to what your kit enables every man to build in his garage. I hope the Mk4 trounces the old car. This way the world will know the Mk4 only looks similar to the 427 in every other way its better.

Thanks man. I think people will be shocked at how far the design has come. BTW, I am hopeful that the long difficulty of the transmissions GTM will be past us soon and you are in the first batch. Dave

Outstanding! I am a FFR customer becuase of Powerblock. The Erod show was my introduction into the madness. Just over four months later there was a GTM in my garage.
I definitely will ensure my DVR catches the show/s.

Is it just me, or does Courtney sound like she's had a traumatic brain injury?

No, it's not just you. Don't know about a brain injury, sounds more to me like there's an adams apple, along w/another 'hidden' package... I much prefer AJ (from Overhaulin'). No hidden junk there!

Anyone who watched Overhauling back during it's first season might remember it was Courtney that was the original female on the show. ;)
