spring question

So While waiting for all my back-ordered parts I thought I would install the Pedal box as all the parts for that are here.

Everything went well until the accelerator pedal which looks nothing like the one in the manual. Worked it out except for one thing. I have a spring that is not obvious where it goes.96430

I think it is to pull the pedal back to resting position but where dies it hook onto

You are correct. That would be the return throttle spring. Typically there are two, one fitting inside each other for safety. Not my picture, but you can get an idea how it connects. Everyone's might be a little different.

Thanks that makes it clear. Did not realize it was for the motor end of the cable
