3. ’35 Hot Rod Truck by Freddie in Battle of the Builders!

Freddie Simmons, Jr. is a good friend, and a master builder. Last spring, Freddie picked up one of our new ’35 Hot Rod Pick-Up Trucks with the idea of building a super custom truck to enter into the SEMA Battle of the Builders. Freddie’s truck is named “Pressurized.” The truck features a ProCharger P1X Supercharger bolted to a built LS1 engine, DRT 4L65 transmission, 3-link rear suspension, deep metallic red paint by BASF, custom interior by Justin at Seamless Customs, Vintage Air A/C system, LED headlights and taillights, and a host of custom mods.

Freddie gave a sneak peek of his truck at the Factory Five Racing sponsored Bass Pro Cruise-In a few weeks ago.

His truck was the last one loaded onto our SEMA rig.

A few nights before loading, Freddie upgraded his truck to the new vertical grill and surround. This will be an available option on both the ’35 Hot Rod Truck and the ’33 Hot Rod.

This show truck is a driver with serious supercharged drag race intentions.

WhooHoo! A vertical grill! Love it. If this was available when I bought my roadster, I may have done a hotrod instead. Maybe the next one...

I like the progression of photos from the 33 grille to the Deuce and No intercooler to intercooler installation. Never stop building!!
