Question on what to do with the EGR.
I've got a FI 4.6L SOHC 2V out of a 1997 Mustang GT as the donor engine. It's got the EGR system on it. Now that I've reversed the exhaust manifolds as needed on the roadster, obviously the metal EGR tube from the maniforld back to the sensor and intake doesn't work. I will eventually be getting the fuel injection wire kit from Detail Zone rather than use the donor harness. I note on the order form that you can have the EGR cut out. So I figure you just plug the ports? What's the downside? I live in NC - not sure about the inspection/exhaust test but I'm thinking it would still pass?
