I am trying to come up with a plan to vent my 818S cockpit. What with the cooling radiator and the air to water intercooler rad. in front, there is lots of heat entering the cabin. I am thinking either a front bumper mounted inlet (difficult to route ducting), or front of windshield cowling mounted inlet (don't know if a high pressure area). Any thoughts/experience?

'curious if you have a center wind screen/deflector at the roll bar, and does it help if you do?

Had the same issue with my S model and this is what I did to fix it
Got my powerful LED shop light, the kind they can see from space if you point it up, placed it under the hood pointing to the fire wall and then crawled under the dash a looked for the light and then sealed those openings using some high density foam cut with an electric knife
Believe me when I tell you that the main source of hot air coming into the cabin was through the lower door hinges, those were also plug/sealed using the same high density foam.

I have no idea what that is. I would love to know if forward of windshield is a good area to mount some venting for the cockpit.

Not too long ago, there is a thread that shows some nice ducting for the front breaks. Also in the photo was some additional hoses from the grill back that looked like they were for venting the cockpit. Hopefully we will see some new photos of how theses ducts where used.
