73 year old disabled veteran
got a 2800 sq ft shop for my hobby of mostly show cars
used to fabricate a lot when stock car racing for 18 years
building a hot rod truck in 2 months
bought a 347 stroker for it was gonna do a LS# but this is cheeper and hopefully less problems on wiring
going with aftermarket injection
how will the 3.55 gears work with a AOD ??? think that will be about 1200 RPM at 60 MPH and a big cam which will have to go instead of getting a loose converte

As some of the more experienced builders here would say, welcome to the madness :)
You'll have a lot of fun and this is a great community which seems to be the best resource for us.
I'm taking delivery of a 33 in a month or so, also planning a 347 with a 3.55 IRS but mating it with a TKO600.

Look forward to your build thread.

I’m based in the twin cities and am building a truck with an AODE and 3.55 gears from a moser 8.8.

You’re welcome to come visit and take a look. I think I’ll turn 1600 rpm at 60...

Welcome.
To post pics from your computer you need to click on the 3rd icon from the right side at the top of this text box, then click on "from computer".
You then navigate to wherever you have the pics stored on your computer, pic out one and upload it.
You can post up to 10 pics in one post. Make sure the file size isn't massive.
The other way is to host your pics at some remote site, copy the URL of that pic, then paste it in using the "from URL" instead of the "from computer" tab.
