My Attempt at Spats

My Mk4 has taken a few stone strikes, and the clear cling ones didn’t hold up for me, so I jumped in and took a shot at making some Spats. I got some black vinyl at the local fabric store, a long with some synthetic felt for backing. I began by making a pattern out of aluminum foil, transferred that to the material. I cut it a bit oversized, and glued the felt to the back. I’ve attached it with exterior Velcro for now, time will tell if that will be enough
