View Full Version : Speedometer on LS 3 not working

LS3 with automatic trans. I am using the speedout (orange wire) from GM harness to signal on speedometer. Speedo won't work.
Am I not using the correct signal wire?

What GM connector do you have plugged into the tranny speed sensor?
Pretty sure you need to use the GM connector marked Vehicle SPD for a 4L65E tranny and not the one marked TISS, which I think is for a 4L80E.

What goes on the right side top terminal marked out?

If your asking about the back of the speedo you don't need to connect that.
It's a square wave output that can be used for a cruise control.

Ok, I think mine very well might be right. I think I need to go kart and do calibration to see it read.
