I've been looking at the design of the '33 and have made not of how far behind the front suspension the engine sits. This pit the idea that a there might be room up there for a dif and half shafts to put power to all 4 wheels.
Anyone else had this idea?

Yep. It would get pretty tight with the inboard shocks. Getting the forward shaft in to the diff would tight under the motor. But if you movie the shocks outboard, I think there might be enough room for a small diff.
Check out Troy trepaniers quadraduce. He used the running gear from a cyclone/typhoon if I’m not mistaken.
It'd be cool. I wonder how the old Silverado SS was setup.

The Power Nation show Truck Tech is doing a 4x4 to AWD conversion on a GM pickup now, using the transfer case from the SS and lowering the truck. They call it Project Red Tide.
