Hey gang, I'm building a 460 into my cobra.Does this need an Oil Cooling Kit? Sounds like these tend to run a bit hot! I'm almost done building this beast and need to make one more parts order. I would appreciate any input on this before spending the extra cash! thanks B.C.

Probably not if you are going to putt around town in it. Keep in mind the motor won't work hard in the little car its just the little car is so close to the big motor you get hot... I don't think a street use car needs a oil cooler. The 460 probably lived a long life in whatever it came out of without one and was probably pulling a lot more weight. Mine has a 302 and I have been driving in gelcoat and bare aluminum and the sides and floor gets hot.....
