Have a stock 302 with the FFR slim coolant tank. Has about 100 mi on it and believe its all bled. Fill the reservoir and after a drive it pukes up, fill it back up half way and did this twice and its dry, no puking. Any thoughts ?

Install a larger tank mine did the same thing except I would sometimes find a small amount of antifreeze under the car

Same thing, I got a big 56oz one from summit, it’s overkill but not sure if 36oz is quite enough? Probably just.

I also bought the 56oz from Summit. I've got the Blueprint 351/427 Stroker and the tank that came with the kit wasn't big enough to handle it.

This is a really strange one. Most cars are fine with the stock overflow, me included. Then there are some that need a bigger one.

I have a carbed 302. When I had the system full and the tank empty, it would overflow the stock FFR tank about 10 oz or so, this was just running it up to temp in the driveway before I had it on the road, so not getting real hot. Mostly idle. Once cooled I’d take the filler cap off the coolant line and it would be missing quite a bit, again, 10-15oz I’m guessing. Did it a bunch of times before I just bought a bigger one.
Problem solved.

Same here, just needed more capacity to keep from overflowing and then sucking air into the system.
