I know it is posted all over but my comprehension of things is a little different and reading about this doesn't click.
Also hopefully I can host this photo properly.
I am following EdwardBs wiring plans. Can people look this over and see if I am on the right track. What tweaks do I need?
I am also wondering if the "red alternator fd" is fed back through the firewall to the alternator. I dont see it in the firewall mock ups. But may have missed it due to so many posts and my mind getting flooded.

My observations: You show only one connection to the PDB. Maybe I'm not reading your diagram correctly, but there are two connections to the PDB. One is the "c500" connection that goes to the PCM; the other goes to the fuse. Also, the fan should be controlled by the PCM, so there is only one connection there. The other lead off the fan is the ground.
Here's more info from my interpretation:
The battery feed red wire from the RF harness should go to the starter. it gets there eventually in your diagram.
Yes, the alternator feed should go directly to the alternator.
You have the pigtail wires (coyote harness) identified and routed correctly, I believe.

Your diagram looks OK. I'm assuming the RED-ALTERNATOR FD you have on the fuse is the one bundled along with the RED BATTERY FEED and RED IGN SW SOL wires. So yes, the remaining long single wire RED ALTERNATOR FD is the one that goes to the post on the alternator. That's the other end of the same wire in the ignition switch bundle. The PDB wire connections are correct for the 2015 version of the controls pack harness. Both should go through the fuse as you have indicated. Later versions, and the 2018 version only have a single power connection. The cooling fan doesn't need a ground home run to the battery. It can be grounded to the chassis at the fan itself or use the fan ground wire in the RF harness.

Resurrecting this thread from a couple month ago …
Working through my Coyote Gen 2 wiring now. Just want to confirm the Red-ALTERNATOR FD wire in the RF harness (connecting from alternator post to bussbar in the attached circuit) is sufficient as provided and no additional wire gauge upgrade is needed (looks like about an 8 awg or so wire) ?
BTW - nice job on the wire diagram Dthquazi. I find this diagram VERY helpful. Much thanks !!

I have such a short term memory. Yes I believe I ran that to the alternator.
Glad that helped you. I have such a hard time reading how things work without seeing it.

Yes, the alternator feed wire in the RF harness is 8 gauge. I've always used it and not had any issues. I've seen some go heavier to 6 or 4 gauge. But I haven't found it necessary. If you're using the recommended Coyote Ford Performance alternator, it's a pretty standard Ford 6G version. They're available in multiple ratings (e.g. 130, 170, and 200-amp) but I haven't been able to determine which they're supplying here. I would guess to the lower end, and in general our builds aren't heavy draws.
