I can not find the wires labeled MIL on the schematic. Is it a light indicator? It has an IGN SW wire in loom with it.

Are you installing a Coyote engine? If so, the MIL is the Malfunction Indicator Light. This thread may help: https://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showthread.php?21472-2015-Coyote-Users-Is-Your-MIL-Working

The MIL (and the OBDII socket) come with the engine wiring harness from Ford Performance - along with the computer and engine bay fusebox. It's not a part of the Ron Francis harness.

Thanks for the explanation. I have LS3. I wonder if there is any possibility of making it work? Will continue to research.

60's kid, I'll be checking out the MIL on my LS3 very soon. Will update that on my LS3 tach post.

Mine works.
If you have the GM tranny and engine ECM there is a bulkhead 12 pin connector that connects both together. The "B" pin has a brown/white wire that is the one to use for the dash mounted MIL light.
If your using an LED you'll need a resistor in series with the LED, I used a 1K ohm.

For the LS3, If you use the CAN-Bus gauges from Speedhut the speedometer has the MIL light, turn signals, and high beam indicator lights all built in. Plus no sending units to worry with and it plugs directly into the OBD II connector.
