Does anyone know if there is a replacement switch for the Lucas switch that comes with the kit? Would like it to be a standard metal toggle. The main reason for wanting a replacement, besides wanting it to match the other switches, is that the Lucas switch provided does not have enough threads to reach through the dash, and be able to be secured with the mounting nut. I am also using dash labels that fit around the stem, which is just compounding the situation.

Have you looked at the offerings from Ron Francis?

Dave,
I didn't think of them. I guess I'll try to get in touch with them next week to see if they have a direct replacement, and a diagram for the wiring. Thanks for the suggestion.

I purchased a RF wiper switch. The switch looks like the pic. I believe the F5 switch is a toggle so the wiring pic in the wiper motor kit addresses the toggle. The RF switch blows a fuse immediately except when the PARK wire is not connected at the motor. I can certainly do a manual mode of killing the switch when the wipers are 'home' but I wonder of anyone else has used the RF wiper switch successfully.

That rotary switch requires some extra effort to make it work, but a simple solution is to buy the Cole Hersee switch (https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/c/cole-hersee/cole-hersee-windshield-wiper-switch/ch00/7560004?q=75600-04&pos=0). It will give you park function as well as intermittent settings. I did a write-up (https://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showthread.php?30668-GTBradley-s-build-Heat-deflectors-for-footbox-air-vent-tubes-that-actually-work&p=471397&viewfull=1#post471397) on this if you're interested.

We bought a rotary knob from speedway for ours and had a similar issue. Not sure if the RF one is the same, but we had to wire in a relay. I found this diagram in a thread on the other forum and it worked for us. No more blown fuses and everything works correctly.

The top part of this link explains it better than I can.
