Decent chance I'll be accepting a new job in Birmingham. I'll be moving from California. Does anyone have experience licencing a FF Roadster in Alabama from out-of-state?

I heard through a customer that it slightly easier than buying bread.

You be happy to find this very uncomplicated in Alabama. I would not stress over it during this time.

Mike has it right.

Not that you will need any advise, but I live north of B'ham and will glad to answer any questions that might be of help, either prior to, during or after your move.
2 of my out of state purchases, I had to make the car available to the transfer site. No big deal, just making sure you have the basics for street operation.
The T Bucket roadster, I had a title, but the clerk said a bill of sale will do it all.
Welcome,

Thanks, everyone! It's not done yet, and I would really hate to leave this wonderful place, but we sure enjoyed our four day visit. Good to know that this part would be easy.

It's no longer 'maybe'. I arrived in Birmingham today. Cars come when I find a place to store them while we close on a house.

Congratulations on the new job! That's a big change, Laguna Niguel to Birmingham. My Aunt lives in LN, so I know first hand what you are giving up. I look forward to seeing the new garage! Hope the house that comes with it is adequate!!

Welcome to Alabama. Just a tip if anyone ask you if you pull for Auburn or bama just go ahead and say Auburn. You will automatically find yourself with smarter, more refined friends. lol

Thanks, Jazzman! We're in negotiations on a house that's more than adequate! Huge workspace. Enough room for, say, a coupe, or a fastback Mustang, maybe a TR-6... Or maybe all of them!

You and I spoke briefly at the Huntington Beach show. Thanks for the congrats! And why are you lurking on the Gulf Region forum??

Cheers,

Mark
