The rear hubs and spindles I have are new, and getting ready to connect them. Hubs came with bolts that have dry thread locker already on them. Anyone add liquid red thread locker to those bolts or is the dry thread lock sufficient?

The spec for the IRS axle nuts doesn't reference any additional thread locker, so I haven't use any beyond what's on the nuts as you mentioned. Given where you're at in the build, it's a little bit of a moot point right now anyway. You won't be able to get the required 98 ft-lbs + 45 degrees until you're further along in the assembly. For now get them as tight as you can to seat the axles. I've been able to them to spec with the e-brake set, the wheel and tire mounted, and the tire on the ground chocked on both sides. Even better is with the engine/trans installed and the transmission in gear. Takes plenty to keep the axle from turning as you tighten it. I could just barely get the last of the 45 degrees using a long 1/2-inch breaker bar and putting my weight on it.
FWIW, #8674 tightened to spec with the same exact setup is at 3,000 plus miles and no sign of loosening. I've got witness marks on there and make it part of my seasonal PM. They haven't budged.

Thanks for that Paul! Just to make sure we're talking about the same thing, I'm looking at page 85/86 in the manual. It shows the wrong bolt there that attaches to the spindle. I was reading War Eagles build thread a while back and made a note. They say to use the Red thread locker here, but my spindle to hub bolts already came with dry thread locker on them, so wasn't sure if anyone had added additional or if that is sufficient. It does say to tighten them to 98 ft-lbs, so just wanted to check.

Oops. Obviously I was talking about he axle nuts. You're talking about the four hub to spindle bolts on the inside of the knuckle. Got it. Sorry about that. All day in the sun at our annual church picnic and car show... That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.
Added thread locker on those bolts wouldn't hurt anything. I'm personally a little cautious about where I use red Loctite. Pretty much won't come apart without heat and not sure it's necessary there. I used blue on mine. That plus the 98 ft-lbs I'm confident they aren't going to loosen. Do what you're comfortable with.

No worries Paul. Always appreciate your feedback! That’s my next step anyway! I’ll probably add a little bit as I’m not sure how long this has been on these bolts, but looks like they may have been sitting a while. Just have to figure out how to hold these puppies down to get to 98 ft-lbs!

NO, I wouldn't add more thread lock to the dry. Two different types of material. It's not 'a little is good, a lot is better'.

Ah, too late Rich. I added just a drop on each bolt, so hopefully no issues!
