Looking for advice on places to stay in Salt Lake area - maybe up near ski areas

Mrs. Gumball and I will be visiting Salt Lake City this fall and we're hoping some of you will have ideas on nice places to stay up in the mountains for a couple days. Thinking a bed & breakfast or a small old-fashioned hotel would be nice.

Any thoughts?
